Friday: 3pm - 9pm
Introductions and welcome; tango history and evolution, initial section breakouts to begin reading the music together
Saturday: 10:00am - 6pm
Section breakouts, small group coaching, and orchestra rehearsal
Sunday: 10:00am - 6pm
Section breakouts, full orchestra rehearsal
Monday: 11:00am - 5pm
Dress rehearsal and concert
Monday: 3:30pm (TBD)
Performance in a concert and milonga for friends, family and the public alongside your maestros and participants of the SF Tango Academy. Tickets will be avaliable for purchase in August; proceeds will be used to help defray the costs of travel and and financial aid.
We will take short breaks each morning and afternoon and pause for dinner on Friday evening and lunches on the other days. Snacks, coffee, tea and soft drinks will be provided throughout the day; dinners are on your own with many and varied restaurants available nearby.
* You will also have the opportunity to arrange private lessons (charged separately) with the faculty before and after the scheduled hours.
